Dr. John Atkinson Abutridy

University Adolfo Ibáñez

Tenured professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences at the Adolfo Ibañez University. He has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence (AI) from the University of Edinburgh, UK. His main areas of research include natural language processing, word mining, machine learning, and intelligent systems. Dr. Atkinson was a member of the advisory council of the Commission of Challenges of the Future of the Senate of Chile, during 2019 for the elaboration of the national policy in AI.

Dr. Eduardo Bitran

University Adolfo Ibáñez

He is an Industrial Civil Engineer from the University of Chile, and a PhD in Economics from Boston University. He currently works as a tenured professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences of the Adolfo Ibáñez University. He was president of the National Council of Innovation for Competitiveness and General Director of Fundación Chile. In addition, he was Minister of Public Works between 2006 and 2008, and Executive Vice President of Corfo in 2014 and 2018.

Dr. Peplluis de la Rosa

University of Girona

Full professor at the University of Girona, Spain. Director of the Easy TECNIO Technological Research Center and the Official Master in Smart Cities of the UdG, Doctor in Computer Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. De la Rosa is an expert in smart agents, social networks, virtual currencies and digital preservation and its application to the market. Currently his work is focused on the subject of designing new types of money suitable for the Internet, Open Innovation and many other applications.

Sr. Roberto Musso


Serial entrepreneur, director and mentor in multiple tech startups. He has founded more than 30 digital companies and completed 3 exits together with his partners. President of Digevo, with operations in 15 countries. Avonni National Innovation Award for Career 2016. Consultant and speaker in digital strategy and entrepreneurship. Author of the book "El Valle de la Muerte" (2012), the model "The Startup Journey" (2015) and the MOOC and homonymous book (2018).

Dr. Fernando Ulloa Vásquez

University Tecnológica Metropolitana

Academic of the Department of Electricity, of the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana (UTEM) Chile and Head of the Digital Radio Research Program, Pird-UTEM. Doctor in Signal and Communications Theory, Telecommunications, Polytechnic University of Catalonia-Spain. His research focuses on radioelectric propagation in fading channels, telemetry, and remote control of power generation systems and unmanned ground and aerial electric vehicles.

Sr. Marco Zúñiga


Civil Engineer in Computing from the University of Chile. He is currently Executive Director of the Chiletec team. He has served as Microsoft's National Technology Officer, Chief Marketing Officer at Biokey, Director of e-Bussiness at Telefónica, Product Manager at Edibank, advisor to the Chilean Cybersecurity Alliance and strategic consultant, leader of innovation and transformation projects and Consultant Senior in multiple public and private initiatives in Chile and Latin America.

Sr. Juan Contreras


Electronic Engineer, and MsCs in Sociology and new technologies, with more than 30 years of experience in companies, design and implementation of projects in new technologies and innovation, as a manufacturing entrepreneur, consultant and academic. ALCATEL Innovation Award in Latin America, IDB consultant, advisor in technological projects for mining, computer biotechnology, and World Bank, in policies for the transfer of knowledge. He is currently Associate Consultant of Gesproinnova S.A.

Dr. Dante Carrizo

Faculty of Engineering - UDA

He is a Computer Science Engineer from the Universidad de Concepción, Chile, and a Master and Doctor of Software Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain. He is a member of the renowned GRISE Empirical Software Engineering Research Group of the U. Politécnica de Madrid. His area of interest is Software Engineering, particularly requirements engineering, in which he has published a book and numerous articles in international magazines and conferences.

Dr. Rómulo Oses


Degree in Biology, Biologist, Master in Forest Sciences Specialization in Biotechnology, Doctorate in Biological Sciences, Botanical specialization from the University of Concepción. At CRIDESAT he develops the Environmental Microbiology - Biotechnology Line. His research interests are directed to the study and application of the diversity of microbial bioresources, through the prospecting, identification, characterization, conservation and documentation of microorganisms.

Sr. Tomás Gentina Nassar


With nearly 10 years of experience in the field of technology, in a first stage I have developed my professional life exercising positive leadership in the Incubation and Business Directorate of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. First, as Executive of Attention to Entrepreneurs and Marketing Manager in the Business Incubator of the PUCV; and later, as Marketing Manager and later General Manager of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub Global PUCV.
